Guardian Animation

Over the last 12 weeks ive been super busy working on a short film with a team of fellow stop motion animators. Tuesday was the hand in and the film is now avaible to view online!

check it out and let us know what you think :)

Been doing some doodles recently, trying to get into the habit of doing more!

Ive even started modelling the ‘vegesausage’ girl. Thinking of writing little back stories for the characters as part of my creative writing.

Im finding it really fun to add little bits of ‘speech’ to my drawings. Makes my characters feel a bit more colourful I guess :)

Grayson Perry is amazing. I definitely recommend watching the BBC documentary thats on iplayer atm. Can’t wait to go and see the exhibition.

love these little time lapse films

Ratters! After looking through my old sketchbooks it seems I have a small obsession with drawing my sisters pet rats. I think it’s their noses. They’re so cute!!

I did these three this week. quite happy with how they came out. I really enjoy painting with ink, for some reason its not as scary as acrylic.

Its been a while since I uploaded any of my own work so I thought I’d put a few drawings on that I’ve done recently.
These are a few life drawing sketches from this week, not great but it was nice to get back to some serious concentrated drawing exercises.
I really enjoyed the 2minute poses that played out a sequence of movement.

30 ways to kill a cowboy

Trying to think up of an idea for a short film and my friend recommended this as inspiration.
